Northern Territory (Yorkshire / Lancashire / Scottish Borders)

£35,000 - £45,000 + car

We are supporting one of clients as they recruit a Surveyor/Site controller to be responsible for their Northern Territory based clients which will include site work in Lancashire, Yorkshire, Scottish Borders and North Midlands). Based from home, with travel to the Midlands office on a weekly/fortnightly basis, the scope of the position will be to cover the entirety of the territory so excessive travel will be required.

Principle duties

• Undertaking on site measurements of Doors and windows for replacement with Flood rated products. (training will be given)
• Surveying (visual and measurement) of buildings for flood protection requirements (training will be given)
• Overseeing sub-contractors installations on site
• Able to undertake simple setting out
• Liaison with Client on production schedules and deliveries
• Liaison with Workshop manager for production updates
• Managing site details and records
• Scheduling material and plant delivery with Administration team
• Liaison with suppliers on ordered materials and services

Reporting to

Operations Director

Formal Qualifications

• Good all round GCSE essential Maths and English- A levels and or higher education qualification would be an advantage
• Must have a current CSCS card

Essential Skills

• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Computer literate in word and excel
• Articulate and good communicator
• Current Clean Driving License
• Willingness to work and learn

Package is variable depending on experience of candidate but will consist of basic salary, Company vehicle or allowance and 20 days paid leave (plus bank holidays)
