Interim Head of Management Accounts

The Interim Head of Management Accounts is responsible for the day to day operation of the financial management team, including the production of budgets, monthly reporting packs and ad-hoc consolidation reports on trust wide projects.

The Interim Head of Management Accounts will need to be adept at managing both their own and their team’s priorities, and flexible in their approach to situations.

The post holder will also manage the Senior Divisional Finance Manager who is responsible for managing the Trusts six DFMs.  The role is responsible for oversight of this team, setting workloads, and providing advice and guidance, with the overarching aim of ensuring work is completed consistently across the Trust.

The Interim Head of Management Accounts will also be responsible for reviewing, designing, and implementing internal reporting process within the trust for monitoring financial performance and for onward reporting to NHSEI.

The role will manage the Finance and Planning manager to ensure robust financial plans are developed and management have an understanding of the Long Term Financial Model (LTFM) and underlying position.
