The University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust are one of the biggest and busiest NHS Trusts in the country, serving the one million residents of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland – and increasingly specialist services over a much wider area.

The Trust have been on a tremendous Improvement journey in recent years. With significant local and national support, the Trust are part of the Recovery Support Programme and has made a 20% investment in the Finance team, investing in training and development, improving the culture and creating an environment that's positive and supportive, and bolstering resources to ensure it is well sourced and supported to deliver a best in class finance function.

As such they are now looking to appoint a Senior Financial Systems Manager (8a), to be responsible for the implementation, management, security, development and performance of financial systems across the Trust.

The Senior Financial Systems Manager will work closely with the Procurement team to ensure that high quality financial and procurement services and information are underpinned by fully integrated, effective systems which make full use of available technologies. They will work with colleagues in Finance and Procurement and across the wider Trust to ensure that financial systems facilitate the achievement of the Trust’s operational and strategic goals.   The Senior Financial Systems Manager will also work closely with other corporate functions to develop and maintain an integrated business support service to business partners in the Trust.
